On October 28th the Hilton Americas had a guest stay with them, and while the guest was walking back to the hotel, and she entered the valet drive area, she noticed a man banging his head on the glass of the hotel. She kept walking, and then she was on the ground due to the guy pushing her face-first to the ground. Our Senior Account Manager Fasil witnessed the incident and rushed over to help and tend to the guest until hotel security and paramedics arrived on the scene. While all this was happening, Fasil still managed to keep an eye on the unstable man who pushed the guest, managing the busy hotel drive, and still check on the guest that was injured. The quick reaction and attention by Fasil truly defines the character of a Propark employee and our company’s culture. The act of professionalism provoked a heartfelt note to the hotel GM from the guest praising Fasil and our company for the way this situation was handled. Fasil also won the Amazing Stay Spotlight award for his actions.

Fasil has been working with us since 2013, started off at The Hilton Americas as a Shift Manager, got promoted to Account Manager for Embassy Suites, and then to Senior Valet Manager back at Hilton Americas, where he has stated, “He is the Captain of The Boat.” This location has always been a booming operation with small events from 500 people to larger events of 2,500 people or more. Across the street from the Convention Center and adjacent to The Toyota Arena, there is always something going on at the Hilton Americas. Highly appreciated by all his team members and “The Hotel Staff,” from the General Manager to The Catering Team, as well as being a great liaison with “Houston First,” this is not an easy task, but Fasil has found the way to have a strong relationship with all, demonstrating to be an amazing representative of Propark.
