In an outstanding display of communication, teamwork, and crisis management, Israel and Jon acted swiftly to prevent a car theft and ensure a guest’s vehicle was safely recovered. Early one morning, Israel greeted a guest as they valeted their car. Within moments, a non-guest jumped into the still-running vehicle and attempted to steal it. Believing Jon was parking the vehicle, Israel stepped into the office. However, upon seeing Jon inside, he quickly realized that a non-guest had entered the running car—turning the situation into an active theft. Without hesitation, Jon immediately asked which direction the suspect had gone and sprinted after the vehicle. Demonstrating situational awareness and decisive action, Jon alerted both the Denver Police Department and Airport Security, providing them with key details about the incident. Meanwhile, Israel remained on the front drive, ensuring that the head of hotel security and additional DPD officers were informed and ready to respond. Their stable composure under pressure and ability to coordinate effectively ensured a rapid and efficient resolution. Thanks to their efforts, law enforcement was able to stop the suspect before they could flee the premises, leading to an arrest. Once the vehicle was safely retrieved, the sense of teamwork and accomplishment was in the air. Hotel security, DPD, and valet celebrated the success together with high-fives and cheers. This moment not only highlights the importance of quick thinking, strong communication, and problem-solving, but it also showcases the power of collaborative teamwork in high-stress situations. Israel and Jon’s actions reflect their dedication to safety, security, and exceptional service. We are grateful, inspired, and fortunate to recognize Jon and Israel as part of our team.
