The Department of Transportation (DOT) garage is a self park garage that is a very challenging location because it is a city municipality. There are many requirements to maintaining the facility and if not followed could lead to fines. Joe and his team have done an amazing job since we took over on April 1st of 2021. The previous management did not take very good care of the garage and in a short amount of time Joe has brought it up to Propark standards. The garage is inspected at least once a week by the DOT inspectors. The things that have been written up have been trivial and always fixed within the same day. We have received numerous compliments from customers as well as the City of NY. Joe has had to manage through many challenges since he took over in May including a transition from a very difficult account manager. Since he has taken over my time was freed up significantly from this location. Despite the many challenges Joe is always calm through everything and looking to do more. In addition to this location he also manages another nearby location which is very busy. Regardless of how busy he is, his leadership shines through in the way he is taking time to develop staff and sharing his knowledge.
