Kelly Perkins

Kelly Perkins has been in the parking industry for almost 30 years. She has been with ProPark since we have had the Sutter contract in Sacramento. Kelly has held a few positions during her employ at ProPark. Her current position as the attendant for Sutter’s Visitors Lot is one of the best fits. Kelly regularly receives gifts from patients and Sutter staff alike. She also sings a celebration song for the regular chemo patients on their last day of treatment – they actually demand it if she forgets. Yes, she is talked about in the Infusion dept. ​

Kelly tirelessly instructs patients on how to use their validation vouchers or stamp cards while regularly policing the parking structure to make sure the gates are in order and no one is in need of help. Kelly knows the gate system so well that she has been frequently known to assist new techs coming to the Sutter Campus when performing Preventative Maintenance on our equipment. Kelly is also a great teacher. When I hire a new employee to work the closing shift at the Visitors Lot, I make sure Kelly is the one training them. Her people skills and knowledge of her location make her an exceptional trainer. ​

Kelly also enjoys singing (she told me once that the acoustics are great in the garage). On several occasions I have overheard patients/visitors compliment her singing or expressing that hearing her sing helped to brighten their day. ​

Kelly is a dedicated ProPark employee who genuinely loves her job. She is a great asset to the team and the hospital. ​
