On a team full of men, my only female employee surpasses all expectations given to her. When Talia began as a valet I noticed little things day by day that made it clear she was going to be a great asset to the team. Talia was very vocal in ways her team could elevate their garage. Whether it was finding more space to add vehicles or staging the morning process to expedite the Googler’s morning experience. She was in fact a dream come true type of employee to a manager. When new projects trickled in after Bay View Operations started settling down, Talia was the first person to extend a hand. She offered to try a brand new operating system knowing her days would be slower and she would most likely be sent home early. But she was more excited about the experience instead of the hours. That displayed great character in Talia and I knew she could see a bigger picture than just being a valet. Once the opportunity had opened up, Talia was promoted to Supervisor by the end of 2022. It is easy to expect a bit of fear when entering a new role but in this case it was the opposite. Talia was leading morning stand ups, updating SOP’s, creating communication modules and so much more in a short matter of time. I can only imagine the places and impact she will have in the company. I am so proud to be able to lead her and allow her to flourish here at Bay View.
