I’d like to nominate Xavier Woods as a Rockstar of the Month candidate. Xavier demonstrates excellent guest service and professionalism while helping our guests’ arrival and departure. On 12/29/24, Xavier was made aware of a possible fire by bystanders that had started in the alley next to the propane storage area between the hotel and another business. Xavier assessed the situation, asking the bystanders to call the fire department. Afterward, Xavier ran up to management (Jordan Bournes) to notify them of the fire and ask them to obtain the fire extinguisher. Management and Xavier attempted to put out the fire with the extinguisher; unfortunately, using the extinguisher was unsuccessful in stopping the fire. Due to Xavier’s quick reaction time to the situation, the fire department arrived within a 5-minute time frame, resulting in minimal damage to the hotel and local businesses.
